Winter season at Edinburgh Bus Tours

In News by

Our Edinburgh Bus Tours winter season starts this Sunday 29 October.

Our 3 Bridges Tour takes a well-earned rest but never fear, our CitySightseeing, Edinburgh Tour and Majestic Tour operate all year round.

Edinburgh looks stunning at this time of year with the low bright light and autumn leaves, it’s the perfect time to get on board and get some amazing photos.

Over the winter season, our Edinburgh Tour offers a live guide who will all have their own Edinburgh Winter stories to tell and our City Sightseeing and Majestic Tours have multi-lingual commentary so all our visitors can learn about our amazing City.

Did you know the first department store Santa in America was from Edinburgh?

James Edgar, born in Edinburgh in 1843 emigrated to America and eventually opened a store in Brockton, Massachutes.  From 1890 James Edgar dressed up as Santa in the store.

This is just one of the winter gems you can learn from our tour guides.

This year, for the very first time, our CitySightseeing tour will be operating on Christmas Day.  If you are in town for the festive season or just looking for a different way to spend the day, why not spend it with us!

We will be running four tours from Waverley Bridge on Christmas Day at 1100, 1210, 1320, and 1430.

Our winter timetables are available now – We look forward to seeing you over the winter months and into 2018.
