Edinburgh Bus Tours is once again Scotlands second top paid for visitor attraction

In News by

Edinburgh Bus Tours has been named the second top paid for attraction in Scotland this week by the Moffat Centre Visitor Attraction Monitor, the unrivalled annual analysis of Scottish attraction performance since 1999.

Thanks to the re-launch of our bus and boat experience as the 3 Bridges Tour and an increase in visitors to the City, we welcomed almost 700,000 visitors aboard our 4 open top bus tours.

Only Edinburgh Castle had more visitors during 2017.

Nigel Serafini, Commercial Director at Lothian said:

We are delighted to celebrate another fantastic year for Edinburgh Bus Tours. To see an extra 85,000 customer journeys across 2017 is a real testament to the dedicated and enthusiastic team at tours. They deliver a fantastic customer experience, rain or shine, for the thousands of visitors choosing to hop on a tour of our fascinating city each day.

Edinburgh Bus Tours operate from Waverley Bridge seven days a week, offering visitors a unique and insightful view of Scotland’s Capital City showcasing amongst other attractions Edinburgh Castle, National Museum of Scotland, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Calton Hill and Royal Yacht Britannia.

The research also shows visitors to Scotland up five percent.
