Changes to our bus tours – Edinburgh Fringe Festival

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival takes place this August, with a wealth of shows happening all across the city.

To allow the Festival to take place, there will be some changes to our bus tours.

Due to part of George Street being closed from the start Sunday 29 July – 1300 Monday 27 August Edinburgh Tour will be diverted from the Mound and will operate via Hanover Street, Queen Street, Charlotte Square, Queen Street, Frederick Street, George Street, Hanover Street. Johnston Terrace and Chambers Street will also be closed from 1700 Monday to Saturday from 2 -25 August.

Our City Sightseeing Tour will be diverted via West Port,  Grassmarket, Candlemaker Row, Bristo Place, Lothian Street, Potterrow, Nicolson Square and Nicolson Street.

The Edinburgh Tour will be diverted via Nicolson Street, Nicolson Square, Potterrow, Lothian Street, Teviot Place, Forrest Road, Candlemaker Row, Grassmarket, West Port, Lauriston Street Lauriston Place, Forrest Road and George IV Bridge.
