Changes to our bus tours - Monday 31 December
If you’re joining us for a bus tour today, our tours will be starting from the north side of St Andrew Square instead of Waverley Bridge. There will also be some diversions.
Waverley Bridge Closure
To allow an event to take place Waverley Bridge will be closed each Saturday and Sunday starting on Saturday 16 November through to and including Sunday 5 January 2020. Tours will leave from George Street (east end).
To George Street:
City Sightseeing and Majestic Tour - from Princes Street, via South St David Street.
Edinburgh Tour - from Queen Street, via North St David Street.
Three Bridges - from Frederick Street, via Queen Street and North St David Street.
From George Street:
City Sightseeing and Edinburgh Tour - George Street and South St David Street to Princes Street.
Majestic Tour - directly to Hanover Street.
Three Bridges - via George Street and Frederick Street.
To allow an event to take place, Lawnmarket, High Street and Canongate will be closed on Sunday 1 December.
City Sightseeing - from Grassmarket will be diverted via Candlemaker Row, Bristo Place, Forrest Road, Chambers Street, Nicolson Street, West Richmond Street, The Pleasance and Holyrood Road to Dynamic Earth.
Edinburgh Tour - from Dynamic Earth will be diverted via Holyrood Road, The Pleasance, West Richmond Street, Nicolson Street, Chambers Street, Bristo Place, Forrest Road, Candlemaker Row, Grassmarket, Lauriston Street, Lauriston Place, Forrest Road, George IV Bridge and Bank Street to The Mound.
Majestic Tour - from Abbeyhill will be diverted via Horse Wind, Holyrood Road, The Pleasance, West Richmond Street, Nicolson Streey, South Bridge, North Bridge, Princes Street and South St. David Street to George Street (festive period weekend terminus). Please note that this is additional to the Waverley Bridge closure/diversions.
