Changes to our bus tours - Monday 31 December
If you’re joining us for a bus tour today, our tours will be starting from the north side of St Andrew Square instead of Waverley Bridge. There will also be some diversions.
Important notice for our customers
On Saturday 21 September, to allow an event to take place, Canongate and Horse Wind will be closed form 1400 hrs until approximately 1600 hrs.
City Sightseeing will be diverted from Chambers Street via Nicolson Street, West Richmond Street, The Pleasance, Holyrood Road, Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Road, St Mary's Street, Jeffrey Street, Waverley Bridge and South St David Street.
Edinburgh Tour will be diverted from Princes Street via North Bridge, South Bridge, Nicolson Street, West Richmond Street, Pleasance, Holyrood Road, Dynamic Earth, Pleasance, West Richmond Street and Nicolson Street.
Majestic Tour will be diverted from Easter Road and will operate via Regent Road, Waterloo Place, Princes Street, South St David Street, Queen Street, Hanover Street and The Mound.
On Saturday 21 September, to allow a film production to take place, part of Regent Road will be closed from 1200hrs until end of service that day.
City Sightseeing will be diverted between Abbey Mount and Hanover Street, and Edinburgh Tour will be diverted between Princes Street and Abbey Mount.

There is no refund for unused portions on the Royal Edinburgh Ticket. Note both the Palace and Queen’s Gallery are closed on 25, 26 Dec.
