Visit the famous penguin colony, Europe’s largest outdoor penguin pool home to over 100 penguins and look out for the Nubian giraffes, new for 2021.

Visitor Information

The zoo has three cafés and several kiosks offering a wide range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. Catch Lothian Buses 26 or 31 from Princes Street.

Accessibility Information

Many of the paths around the Zoo can be accessed by wheelchair. However some routes involve steps or steep slopes which are unsuitable for wheelchairs.
