The hall was funded by Andrew Usher, a whisky distiller who donated ÂŁ100,000 to the city for a new concert hall. Completed in 1914 it holds approx 2,200 people and its recently restored
auditorium is well loved by performers due to its acoustics.

Level entry to the ground floor on the Grindlay Street side of the building’s new wing, and lift access to all levels of the hall.
