Tour diversions on Saturday 23 April 2022

To allow an event to take place, a number of roads in the city centre will be closed between 1200 and 1500 (approximately) on Saturday 23 April.

City Sightseeing and Edinburgh Tour will be affected between 1230 and 1500 only, and will be diverted between Lothian Road and Regent Road (Westbound) via Bread Street, West Port, Grassmarket, Candlemaker Row, Bristo Place, Lauriston Place, Lady Lawson Street, Johnston Terrace, Lawnmarket, Bank Street, The Mound, Hanover Street, George Street, South St. David Street, Princes Street, Waterloo Place, Regent Road, Montrose Terrace, London Road and Easter Road.

Cobbles’ Tour will be affected between 1200 and 1330, and will follow this diversion during these hours: between Regent Road (Eastbound) and George IV Bridge via Montrose Terrace, London Road, Easter Road, Regent Road (Westbound), Waterloo Place, North Bridge, South Bridge, Nicolson Street, Nicolson Square, Potterrow and Forrest Road.

Between 1330 and 1500, Cobbles’ Tour will be diverted between Regent Road (Eastbound) and Chambers Street via Montrose Terrace, London Road, Easter Road, Regent Road (Westbound), Waterloo Place, North Bridge and South Bridge.

Majestic Tour will be affected between 1230 and 1500 only, and will be diverted between Easter Road and St Andrew Square via Regent Road, Waterloo Place, Princes Street and South St David Street.
